NAGASEP is membrane module made of silicone rubber hollow fiber. Silicone rubber
has the biggest gas permeability.
Silicone rubber is wholly different from other gas separation membrane
materials in the way how gases permeate through.That is, silicone rubber
membrane has no pores for gases to go inside. Gases dissolve into silicone
rubber and move across being accelled by pressure difference. This means
the membrane will never be choked, and therefore can work well in long
time applications.
Silicone rubber also has excellent heat resistence, durable up to 200 centigrade.
Silicone rubber has big selective peameability for volatile organic compounds in water.
